    šŸ Apple Cinnamon Loaf RecipeĀ 

    This moist and gently spiced apple loaf is a lunchbox hero, after-school snack winner, and crowd-pleaser at any morning tea. Made with fresh Royal Gala apples and a handful of pantry staples—no fancy gadgets needed!

    Ingredients

    • 90 g butterĀ (about 6 tablespoons), cut into cubes, plus extra for greasing
    • 150 g Royal Gala applesĀ (about 2 medium apples), peeled and finely chopped
    • 1 extra Royal Gala apple, unpeeled, for garnish
    • 1 large egg
    • 180 ml creamĀ (3/4 cup)
    • 250 g self-raising flourĀ (about 2 cups)
    • 1 tbsp honey
    • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
    • 100 g brown sugarĀ (1/2 cup firmly packed)

    Instructions

    1. Preheat & Prepare the Tin
      Preheat your oven to 180°C (160°C fan-forced).
      Grease and line aĀ loaf tin (approx. 22 x 12 cm)Ā with baking paper.
    2. Prep the Apples
      Peel and finely chopĀ 2 Royal Gala apples.
      Slice the remainingĀ 1 apple (unpeeled)Ā into thin rounds (about 5 mm thick), removing the seeds.
    3. Melt the Butter
      Place butter in a small saucepan over low heat and stir until melted.
      Let it cool slightly.
    4. Mix the Batter
      In a large bowl, whisk together theĀ egg, cream, honey, andĀ melted butter.
      AddĀ flour, cinnamon, andĀ brown sugar, then gently stir until just combined.
      Fold in theĀ chopped apple.
    5. Assemble & Decorate
      Pour the batter into the prepared loaf tin and smooth the top.
      ArrangeĀ apple slicesĀ on top.
    6. Bake
      Bake forĀ 45–55 minutesĀ or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
      Let cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
