International shipping to New Zealand has a separate international rate and the free shipping threshold is not valid.

Digital Products are delivered instantly via email.

We are not responsible for delivery delays or damage caused by third parties but will assist where possible.

6. Returns & Refunds

We comply with Australian Consumer Law.

Please contact us within 14 days if you’re unhappy with your order. Items must be unused and in original packaging to qualify for a return.

We cannot accept returns on accidental breakage. Return postage is at the customer’s expense unless the item is faulty.

Returns & Exchanges Policy

Returns Timeframe

Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order if you’d like to return or exchange an item.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a return:

Items must be unused, unwashed, and in original packaging
Tags must still be attached
Item must be in resellable condition

We cannot accept returns for:

Sale or clearance items (unless faulty)
Personalised products (unless faulty)
Accidental breakage
Gift cards
Digital products

Personalised products are created exactly as per the information entered at checkout. Please double-check all spelling carefully before placing your order, as we cannot offer refunds or exchanges for errors once production begins.

All products are subject to manufacturer’s warranty where applicable.

Exchanges

We’re happy to exchange items for a different size or style (subject to stock availability). Just send the original item back, and we’ll send out the replacement.

Return Shipping

Return postage is at your expense unless the item is faulty or we made an error
We recommend using a trackable shipping method

Refunds

Once we receive your return and inspect it, we’ll process your refund back to your original payment method. Please allow 3–5 business days.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item is faulty, damaged, or not what you ordered, please email us as soon as possible with your order number and a clear photo of the issue. We’ll sort it out quickly.

9. Retail Purchases & Bulk Order Limits

Coastal Kidswear operates as a retail store and is not set up for wholesale purchasing through this website.

Orders placed through our online store are intended for personal, non-commercial use. Orders containing multiple units of the same product design and colour may be reviewed prior to fulfilment.

To ensure accurate shipping costs, fair stock availability, and smooth order processing:

Orders of more than 6 units of the same product design and colour should be confirmed with us prior to placing your order
Orders placed without prior confirmation may be cancelled and refunded at our discretion if they are deemed bulk, wholesale-style, or incur excessive shipping costs
Refunds for cancelled bulk orders will be processed back to the original payment method in line with Shopify and payment gateway requirements

This policy helps us prevent unexpected freight costs, protect stock levels for all customers, and maintain fast dispatch times.
