The Much-Loved b.box Food Pod Is Finally Back!

After almost two years away, the eagerly awaited b.box Insulated Lunch Pod in Forest has returned with a new name. Previously known as the b.box Food Jar, this compact insulated pod was a firm favourite with families—and we know many of you have been patiently waiting for it!

Designed to fit perfectly inside the sandwich compartment of the large b.box Lunchbox, it lets you pack a warm lunch alongside fruit, snacks and other favourites, all beneath the one lunchbox lid. It can also be used on its own for kindy, school, work, travel or family days out.

With a practical 265ml capacity, it is ideal for child-sized portions of pasta, noodles, fried rice, soup, leftovers and other warm lunches. It can also keep yoghurt, fruit and cold snacks refreshingly cool.

Please note that it does not fit inside the b.box Mini Lunchbox or Snackbox.

How to Keep Food Warm Until Lunchtime

For the best results:

1. Fill the pod with boiling water, close the lid and leave it to preheat for 5–10 minutes.
2. Carefully empty the water and dry the inside.
3. Add freshly heated food while it is still hot.
4. Fill the pod as much as practical to reduce empty air space.
5. Secure the lid immediately.

Saucy meals such as pasta and soup generally retain their warmth better than dry foods. When packing nuggets or sausage rolls, a small piece of paper towel underneath can help absorb condensation and reduce sogginess.

Always check that food is at a safe and suitable temperature before serving it to a child.

Cleaning and Care

Remove the silicone seal from the lid and wash the lid by hand in warm, soapy water. The stainless steel base and silicone seal can be placed on the top rack of the dishwasher.

Allow every component to air-dry completely before reassembling. Do not leave moisture sitting inside the stainless steel base, as this may contribute to surface rust.
